One of my first thoughts about mobility within architectural context was work of Rem Koolhaas - prada transformer - a temporary pavilion put up in Seoul, Korea.
At first, some may say, that it doesn't fit within great, fancy pavilions built these days, but is it all only about the looks?
Certainly, when it comes to function, Koolhaas's pavilion beats up all the competition. It has not two, not three, but four different functions, which can be achieved by setting the structure on one of his four walls, each being a different geometrical shape to deliver a best possible performance for a particular use.

Whole structure is wrapped with PVC type of material, which because of dirty Seoul's air looks more like a stretched vellum .
Here is a time lapse movie showing the transformation itself, which unfortunately is not part of a public show, despite being probably most exciting one.
